After vaginal birth, use a peri bottle filled with warm water to gently cleanse the perineal area after using the bathroom. Cold packs can help reduce swelling and discomfort, while sitz baths may provide soothing relief and support healing.
C-Section Care
After a cesarean delivery, keep the incision clean and dry to help prevent infection. Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity during recovery. Contact a healthcare provider immediately if the incision opens, becomes red, swells, or shows any signs of infection.
Pain Management
